News: 3.5.08 Okay, well now that I've taken a Looooong Hiatus, I'm gunna try to bring this board back together! Now, to be able to do that, and make this board successful, I need each of our old members to come back and listen to the staff. The reason this site closed in the first place was because of the members not listening to the staff. This will not happen a second time. I will start inflicting punishments on members not listening/replying to staff. ~Malea[Heather]	Allenwood is a lovely ranch in the middle of southern Colorado. The ranch itself borders the open country side where it is said wild horses still roam. Many a character work and board at the ranch, not all of them pleasant. Many of them try to round up and catch themselves a wild horse to tame. Not all are sucessful and Heather, the owner doesn't approve. Though she cannot do much as the ones who do capture the wild horses are normally the ones who pay the most to board. It's a sad thing, but it happens. Western style riders make up the majority of the people here, though there are a few who choose to ride english and other styles. Competitions in such styles happens here as well. The boarders are all welcome to join in and occaisionally someone else in town will join too. So, will you risk your freedom and join as a wild horse, or will you decide to come as a tame and competitive ranch horse? Then of course you can always decide to join as a human. It's your decision. Dear People, OHMYGAWD! ITZ TEROU! Yush, I am back, and literate, and full o' muse. So, Mal-kins is right. We must get this board back up. Jack, you're doing great. I'm creating a new characters, deleting my old, and fixing this board up! I have some great ideas for it to. Open Lands
	&&the mountains These mountains stretch long beyond the borders of the ranch. They encompass the entire land of the wild horses. They make nice valleys and narrow passage ways between each valley, giving the wild horses that roam here pleantly of room to roam free and plenty of space to hide from the wranglers that work at the ranch not far from here. They stretch for miles, and since the herd of wild horses tends to stick to the valleys, it is a good place to go for privacy. But beware the dangers that lurk here, mountain cats thrive, and some coyotes can be found as well. It's a dangerous yet peaceful place. 	&&the valley These valleys hold the herd's food. They are also safe places from the predators that hide in the mountain ranges, it is much easier to spot a wild cat slinking through the grass than it is through the trees when they are in their own element. There is one main valley that the herd likes to graze in the most. It holds the largest lake in it as well as the lush grasses. This is a good place to find the herd, especially around foaling time. 	&&the caves These caves are cool and silent. They're a great place to get some peace and quiet, but don't venture in too deep! You are sure to get lost in them!
